STD Register – National Rally
A really great weekend out! …..The STD National at The Black Country Museum, Dudley, Wolverhampton. DY1 4SQ. Saturday 12th September.
Enjoy an extended weekend or turn up for the day. This is a last call for your action and attendance at the Annual National event!
The venue is a very special source of intrigue and wonderment. An open air living museum celebrating West Midlands industrial heritage in particular. There are 80 000 items in the collection with 60 period shops, factories and houses. A preservation of the area’s industrial history. Where else can you visit two mine shafts and a limekiln in short walking distance of one another?
The Museum has a collection of locally manufactured vehicles including Sunbeams and AJS and in particular you can lick the paintwork of a rare Sunbeam bus!
So, without delay you must register your interest and confirm with the Mount Country Manor Hotel your accommodation requirement. Don’t forget to quote ‘STD Rate‘. Note the hotel operates ‘dynamic pricing‘. Tel: 01902 752055.
The Friday and Saturday dinners are the basic package, but why not stay over on the optional Sunday and make a full weekend of it? Select how many nights you wish to stay and pay the Hotel directly.
We can meet on Friday 11th September in the Coffee Hose at Boscobel House, Brewood, Bishop’s Wood, Shropshire, ST19 9AR. Congregate from 11:30am and maybe if the urge takes you, a light lunch from say 12:30.
A scenic short drive on the Friday afternoon will be documented and distributed for the route from Boscobel to the Hotel.
If you decide to stay for the optional Sunday, then a route suggestion or places of interest will be circulated.
Want to review more? Then check out the BCLM website on: https://bclm.com
Please act now to avoid disappointment (mine that is!) See you in September.
