This friendly car club was founded in 1950 and 2025 was our jubilee year. So we are now 75 not out and into our 76th year.

The Register is dedicated to all who have an interest in Sunbeam, Talbot & Darracq motor cars manufactured up to 1935. The club embraces cars from both the veteran and vintage periods.  Production of all three marques started around 1900. In 1919 Darracq took over the Talbot company and in 1920 this new company merged with the Sunbeam company to form STD Motors Ltd which is the inspiration of our club name. It is important to note that, despite the merger, all three marques retained their own identity until the demise of the group in 1935.

The club now has a worldwide membership of about 500.  The Register holds regular rallies and social events and publishes a well illustrated monthly Newsletter and several Journals a year.
